As Vice-President Joe Biden spoke to supporters in Danville, Virginia on Tuesday, he took shots at Mitt Romney’s economic plan. What he said was found offensive by many as he spoke in an area that has a 49% black demographic. In speaking about his father, Biden claimed that his father said, “Show me your budget and I’ll show you what you value,” but it was what followed that is the quintessential definition of race baiting.

“They’ve said it. Every Republican’s voted for it. Look at what they value, and look at their budget. And look what they’re proposing,” Biden said about Romney’s plan.

“[Romney] said in the first hundred days, he’s going to let the big banks write their own rules — unchain Wall Street. They’re going to put y’all back in chains.”

It’s not even that he just said that, but he added in a disturbing Southern accent that is reminiscent of someone trying to make a very clear reference to slavery.

Can anyone take Obama/Biden serious at all? I mean they have gone after Romney claiming that he killed a man’s wife with cancer and now they are basically telling black people they are going to put them on plantations and make them slaves.

This is beyond low, dirty politics. Look there is plenty to attack Mitt Romney on that is legitimate, but the problem is that many of those things are things that Barack Obama either wants to do or has already done.

Romney campaign spokeswoman Andrea Saul said in a statement,

“After weeks of slanderous and baseless accusations leveled against Governor Romney, the Obama Campaign has reached a new low. The comments made by the Vice President of the United States are not acceptable in our political discourse and demonstrate yet again that the Obama Campaign will say and do anything to win this election. President Obama should tell the American people whether he agrees with Joe Biden’s comments.”

My goodness, I just wonder if the Obama administration will next tell us that The Romney campaign was involved somehow creating the Tsunami that hit Japan last year!
