Singaporeans Called Upon to Perform Their Patriotic Bootie…(ahem)..Duty

(Before It's News)

There is at least one place on the map where the government is not cooperating with the depopulation agenda of the global elites.

The government of Singapore is promoting a “National Night” of sex to help spike the population in the face of steadily declining birth rates since 2008.

A 3 minute rap video encourages the people of Singapore to do their “civic duty”  and “make fireworks, not watch them” in an effort to procreate on August 9th, “National Night” – also the day that Singapore celebrates it’s independence from Malaysia.

…the remainder of the black-and-red themed video explains why citizens need to have sex on National Night – without even once mentioning the word sex. Instead, inventive euphemisms are used (”Let’s make a lil’ human that looks like you and me, explorin’ your body like a night safari”), interspersed with terrible pickup lines (“Girl you’re so hot I wanna to turn on the A/C”).

Clearly, the rap is not discreet about what the government wants its citizens to be doing on Aug. 9. “Let’s make Singapore’s national birth rate spike,” croons the woman’s floating voice.  (Source)

Singapore’s Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew is very concerned about the plummeted Total Fertility Rates (TFRs) in Singapore.  In a statement he commented that at the current low birthrate “Singapore’s economy will slow down like the Japanese economy.”

Opinions on the cause of the declining birthrates are mixed.

Dr Yap Mui Teng, senior research fellow at Institute of Policy Studies, said: “Basically it’s due to people postponing marriage or not getting married at all and also for those who are married, they don’t have as many children as they have before. These are the two demographic factors. And why are people postponing marriage or not getting married at all?

“Partly, because it takes them longer to establish themselves (in a job)….people are staying in school longer nowadays. In the past, after their O-Level and A-Level, people start getting economically active, get a job, start a family and buy a flat. (Now) it is taking longer for young people to get to that stage because they feel they need better qualifications to get better jobs.

“Elsewhere it has been shown that the demand of the job has increased and people need higher skills to enter the labour force and get a job before they start a family.”

Other people believe that the birthrates have dropped due to high-stress lifestyles and the growing expense of raising a family.

Check back in about 9 months to see if the “National Night” celebrations were a success.
