Univision Chicago Weekend News Anchor Paula Gómez has been confirmed as the moderator for the Emerge Hispanic Networking Series event in Chicago on August 16.
PODER Hispanic magazine, the premier business and lifestyle publication for Hispanic and Latino leaders announced in July that the third stop in the EMERGE business networking series for the year will be in Chicago on August 16 at the W Hotel in Lakeshore. EMERGE provides participants with an educational experience in support of its ongoing commitment to empower and spark the professional development of young emerging Latinos. Celebrating its fifth year, the national EMERGE Series, a unique experience for young Hispanic emerging professionals, will then make its final stop in Miami on Nov. 8 at the Epic Hotel.
What: Over 200 Chicago Hispanic young professionals, entrepreneurs, business and civic leaders are expected to attend the August 16 EMERGE Chicago event. The EMERGE Series in Chicago, hosted by PODER magazine, will feature a panel discussion with:
• Salvador Mendoza, Vice President Global Diversity & Inclusion, Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
• Annette Martinez, Vice President Operations-Human Resources, State Farm.
• Lynda Gonzales-Chavez, Vice President Diversity & Inclusion, YMCA of the USA.
