US Code 38 US 1803 provides for habilitative and rehabilitative care for about 1000 children of Vietnam vets suffering from Agent Orange related Spina Bifida. Our daughter Honey Sue is one of these children. The VA will NOT follow the law on this, and will NOT provide the habilitative and rehabilitative care to Honey Sue or ANY of the 1000 or so A/O Spina Bifida children. Congress passed the law to provide this care, but now our own Congressman will not stand up to the VA and insist the law be obeyed. We suspect that the money ALREADY SET ASIDE for this care is being funneled into other programs that benefit corporations and political campaigns rather than war veterans.
Congressman Bucshon needs YOUR help in getting interested in fixing this pr
oblem. Please call Congressman Bucshon’s office TODAY at 202 225 4636, ask for his chief of Staff John Causey, and tell Mr Causey, that you support making the VA follow the law on 38 US 1803 http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/38/1803 by supplying habilitative and rehabilitative care to the 1000 or fewer A/O children, INCLUDING HONEY SUE.
