(Before It's News)

The White House has confirmed that Chinese hackers have hacked in US Government computer system, including those used for nuclear commands by the military. Here is what one source told Fox News:

This was a spear phishing attack against an unclassified network, these types of attacks are not infrequent and we have mitigation measures in place. This [White House Communications Agency] guy opened an email he wasn’t supposed to open.

The email contained what is know as a spear phishing attacked and it was traced back to a server in China. Spear phishing is a method that uses messages, primarily emails, to look valid, when in fact they attempt to access confidential information. The attempted hacking of U.S. military networks used by the White House is a common occurrence, but success is rare.
