Here’s the latest:
Obama tells donors: I’m only going to win if “everybody is almost obsessive…”
Romney dealing with foreign policy specifics describes Obama’s lack of strategy as weak, dangerous.
The latest Military Times survey of more than 3,100 active-duty, National Guard and reserve members shows Romney leading 66% to Obama’s 26%!
Liberals are fretting over the latest Pew poll in which Mitt Romney has surged ahead and is viewed as the candidate with new ideas and better able than Obama to improve the jobs situation, and reduce the budget deficit. Prior to last week’s debate, Obama had a 51 – 43 lead; now Romney has grabbed an unprecedented 49 – 45 jump. Liberal Andrew Sullivan calls the news “devastating, just devastating,” and pessimistically whines “Did Obama just throw the entire election away?”
Sullivan joins a host of other committed leftists who are so distressed with the lackluster Obama, they are soundly thrashing him.
After his stellar debate triumph, and with voters now able to digest the administration’s questionable jobs report, Mitt Romney has closed a 9 percentage-point gap and is once again tied with Barack Obama in the latest The Washington Times/Zogby Poll conducted by Zogby Analytics.
Likely voters who watched Wednesday’s debate overwhelmingly scored it a win for Romney by 65 percent, with only 14 percent calling it for Obama. Even more devastating for Obama were the mere 8% of Independents favored him. Romney is also turning the gender gap in his favor.
And in an especially telling number, the majority — 57% — said they are worse off today than four years ago.
“Don’t ever ask again if debates matter,” wryly concluded John Zogby, the pollster who conducted the survey.
