It has been rumoured that the next Bilderberg Group meeting in 2013 will be hosted in Europe.

Less than five months since the 2012 Bilderberg Group meeting, there has been growing speculation that the 2013 Bilderberg Group meeting will either be hosted in Germany, Greece or Italy.

If we examine where recent Bilderberg Group meetings have been hosted and where Bilderberg Group meetings usually take place, then it’s fair to suggest that these rumours may hold some validity.

There have been in total 60 official Bilderberg Group meetings since 1954 (twice held in 1955 and 1957). The most recent meeting was hosted in the United States. Although on average the United States represents 28% of official attendees, only 20% of all official Bilderberg Group meetings have been hosted in the United States.

In fact, more than 72% of all official Bilderberg Group meetings have been hosted in Europe, with Canada hosting the remaining 8%.

To add weight to the speculation that the 2013 Bilderberg Group meeting will be hosted in Europe is the surprising fact that the United States and Canada collectively have only ever held the meeting consecutively once.

Europe on the other hand has hosted over 93% of their meetings consecutively (two meetings or more in a row). As can be observed by the graph below, Europe has only ever hosted the meeting three times without hosting it consecutively.

Therefore, based on the information above and based on an analysis of the recent trends in where Bilderberg Group meetings are hosted, the following can be derived:

  1. After the United States has hosted a meeting, the probability that they will host the meeting for two or more years is around 3%.
  2. Canada only ever hosts Bilderberg Group meetings after Europe hosts the meeting for three or more years in a row.
  3. Whenever the United States hosts the meeting, Europe then hosts the meeting for 2 or more years in a row.
  4. 20% of all Bilderberg Group meetings hosted by Canada will probably be next hosted in the United States.
  5. After the last two meetings hosted in the United States, Europe has hosted the meeting for three years in a row.
  6. On Average, Canada hosts Bilderberg Group meetings every 9 years. The greatest time span between meetings was 13 years. Therefore, if these trends are correct, Europe will host the next three meetings, followed by Canada (see point 5)
  7. Whenever there is a financial crisis, Europe appears to host the meeting. Europe hosted the meeting in 1973 (oil crisis), 1987 (Stock Market Crash) and 2007 (Global Financial Crisis).

Whether rumours that the 2013 Bilderberg Group meeting will be hosted in Germany, Greece or Italy are true or not, the evidence above clearly suggests that the next meeting will be hosted in Europe.
