The sad thing is many progressives were tricked and manipulated into voting for Obama, a specific example is early in the primaries when ABC’s Stephanopoulos gave the false impression that only Obama was against the Iraq war from the start as video was shown of the debates and you can clearly see Gravel and Kucinich on the stage!
ABC broadcast Stephanopoulos reporting that, “Unlike his top rivals for the Democratic nomination, Obama was against the war in Iraq from the start.” The audience is supposed to know that Stephanopoulos’s definition of “top rivals” doesn’t include all those on the stage? Also, why not point out that there are other candidates who were really against the war from the start, including two who are clear choices for voters who really want someone who was against the war. ABC is guilty of deception. Deception is theft. People who were tricked into thinking Obama was the only anti-war choice were robbed. Deception is theft, for those who relied on things like this deceptive ABC television broadcast, the election was stolen.
Mainstream media doesn’t respect democracy. I could see from the start of the primaries that the media was misrepresenting Obama to the public. At this point, the man people were tricked into voting for has proven by his actions in office that he has no right to be president. Obama shouldn’t even be allowed to run again because he violated his oath to the Constitution when he abused war powers he had no right to use according to our Constitution, specifically according to the part of the Constitution which the father of the Constitution said was the most important part: keeping the power to start wars out of the hands of the President and only for Congress only to have that power. The media should be talking about his impeachment, not his potential reelection.
