Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Russia with the red carpet treatment in a display meant to note the strengthening relationship between the two nations. Jinping met with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin before sitting down at St. George Hall to discuss how the two countries will collaborate as formidable powers.

With Russia leading the world in energy production and China being the world’s largest energy consumer, ideological commonality is more apparent than not. China has already agreed to pay for Russian oil to bolster supply chains to the tune of $2 billion.

China and Russia will confirm a trade agreement for Russian gas, oil and engineering goods exchanged for Chinese consumer products.

Putin explained: “Our relations are characterized by a high degree of mutual trust, respect for each other’s interests, support in vital issues. They are a true partnership and are genuinely comprehensive. “The fact that the new Chinese leader makes his first foreign trip to our country confirms the special nature of strategic partnership between Russia and China.”

Jining explained before his trip to Russia that China and Russia are “working together, helping to shape a new, more just world order, ensure peace and security, defend basic principles of international law.”

Jining is touring the nations belonging to BRICs, a coalition of countries seeking to dethrone the technocratically-controlled nations through economic domination. BRICs have control over 20% of Africa’s exports.

The BRICs nations will meet for their 5th BRICs Summit March 26-27 in Durban, South Africa later this month to discuss multilateral business projects, investment cooperation between nations and trade.

BRICs are moving toward strengthening the role of the UN, adherence of international law above sovereignty inherent to nations, and using political power to influence the outcome of fake revolutions such as the proxy war being fought in Syria by al-Qaeda recruited Salafi Jihadists imported from Saudi Arabia.

However, BRICs want to restructure global economics through relations and a return to the gold standard; replacing the US dollar as the global reserve currency.

Alexei Pushkov, chair of the State Duma’s international affairs committee, remarks that: “Countries like Russia and China look at the traditional power centers – the US and Europe – and see that these countries cannot provide answers. Everyone has the feeling that the old world order is finished. This cascade of events drives Russia and China further from reliance on the Euro-Atlantic world. After all, what kind of example do they provide if they just confiscate money from peoples’ accounts? Russia, China, the other BRICS countries, are looking for a new model…. It’s not driven by some sort of anti-Western logic. There is a crisis of trust. There is a feeling that our countries are on their own. We don’t have a point of reference anymore.”

BRICs will implement a Business Council at their next scheduled summit while furthering plans to meld economic policy for the new geopolitical landscape forming.

Putin explains that BRICs “countries seek to help the world economy achieve stable and self-sustaining growth and reform the international financial and economic architecture. Our major task is to find ways to accelerate global development encourage flows of capital in real economy and increase employment.”

Putin confirms that the “Russian-Chinese relations are on the rise” because of “a high degree of mutual trust, respect tfor one another’s interests. Support in vital issues” which facilitates “a true partnership.”

By working with the UN, the BRICs nations want to promote a “stabilizing factor in world politics” by using “multilateral formats, we are working together, helping to shape a new, more just world order, ensure peace and security, defend basic principles of international law. That is our common contribution to strengthening sustainable global development.”

Russia and China are blocking NATO and the US from coercing “resolutions” within the UN Security Council. Jinping said: “We must respect the right of each country in the world to independently choose its path of development and oppose interference in the internal affairs of other countries.”
