N. Korea’s Likely 1st Target Pinpointed
Kim’s bellicose rhetoric about nuclear war ramping up

WASHINGTON – An expert on North Korea predicts the isolated Hermit Kingdom could stage “some kind” of attack or bombing within a few days on the Korean Peninsula amid heightened rhetoric about nuclear war.
Sung-Yoon Lee said the recent bluster is “unusual for [North Korea's] standards.”
North Korean threats could include wiping out an inhabited South Korean island, and it is “not mere rhetoric,” Lee told the open source Langley Intelligence Group Network, or Lignet, in an exclusive interview.
Lee is the Kim Koo Korea Foundation professor in Korean Studies and an assistant professor at Tufts University’s Fletcher School.
Lee said that the bellicose rhetoric from North Korea could be boxing in North Korea’s 28-year-old leader, Kim Jong-un, and that if he doesn’t act, he could lose face.
Other analysts believe Kim is attempting to prove to a skeptical military leadership that he can be tougher than his father, Kim Jong-il.
Consequently, Lee believes that North Korea will spark a military incident within the next couple of days.
He doesn’t believe the sending of U.S. B-2s during a joint U.S.-South Korean military exercise was the source of the new threats.
On the contrary, he believes the B-2 flights may dampen the North’s enthusiasm for engaging in further military provocations.
Meanwhile, North Korea continues to raise the specter of nuclear war, but this time on the Korean Peninsula, according to a statement by the Korean Central News Agency, or KCNA. The KCNA is the official mouthpiece of the North Korean leadership.

B2 bombers are for show, the nuclear subs sitting within 100 miles could wipe out the whole country in a few minutes or shoot down any missile fired.
China borders NK, so does SK. Japan is right there too. That radiation will hit our neighbors and make our biggest threat extremely pissed off.
Not to mention, its a domino that creates a MAD scenario. I doubt we will use nukes pre-emptively. Unfortunately the only option is long and bloody and requires massive amounts of troops on the ground. NK is a huge set of mountain ranges and most of their facilities are impervious to our bombs. They have been digging in since 1953 and have developed capabilities to mitigate our technological advantages.
If they can disable satellite communication, they can put an extreme amount of hurt on us in a very short amount of time. Exploding a nuclear device in the atmosphere over the US could accomplish that goal by shutting down our power and communication rendering us effectively blind.
Really, its like that is it? In addition to lobbing nuclear artillery shells into Switzerland, a stealth gunboat with a stealth artillery mounted on it will slip into the English Channel and London is kaputski. Now fu toi you limey twit. You’re bankrupt and you know it.

I wish to reiterate. Legislation has been drafted to restore the Bank of the United States and Glass-Steagall. Gold will drop to $200 an ounce, because it can be cheaply manufactured now – monoatomic particles and all. U/E in the US is down to 6.7%, the foreclosure crisis is over.
