House Representative Mike Rogers, chair of the House Select Intelligence Committee (HSIC) said that the recent cyber-attacks attributed to China are a “cyberterrorism that makes 9/11 pale in comparison.”

It is being said that Chinese hackers connected to the Chinese government were inquiring about US infrastructure such as energy pipelines, water treatment facilities and financial institutions.

Mainstream media is fear-mongering the idea that Chinese hackers will cause a compromise to the electrical grid, causing mass panic and “loss of life”.

Rogers told the HSIC that: “The technological leadership and national security of the United States is at risk because some of our most innovative ideas and sensitive information are being brazenly stolen by these cyberattacks.”

Rogers and Dutch Ruppersberger, HSIC ranking member, have introduced the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) which would federalize information sharing between the US government and corporations. Rogers claims: American businesses are under siege. We need to provide American companies the information they need to better protect their networks from these dangerous cyber threats.”

The Obama administration has announced concern for American trade secrets with the recent alleged cyber-attacks attributed to China. Obama is scheming to use propaganda coercion to influence corporations to coordinate with the US government to deter theft of intellectual property.

The foundation of the plan is the claim that Chinese hackers are threatening US economic capabilities with cyber-espionage on the rise.

It is assumed that digital information regarding all walks of industry (from oil fields to manufacturing technology) are being syphoned from the US and sold on the black market.

Graham Cluley, British security expert explains: “This is really the new era of cybercrime. We’ve moved from kids in their bedroom and financially motivated crime to state-sponsored cybercrime, which is interested in stealing secrets and getting military or commercial advantage.”

Cyber-criminals are supposed to be working with foreign governments to steal valuable information for profit.

According to Ryusuke Masuoka, cybersecurity expert at the think-tank, Center for International Public Policy Studies , says this is “an ongoing war” that is “deeper” than first suspected.

Experts continue to support the “Chinese government-sponsored hackers” meme while the US covertly develops advanced cyberspying software with technologies corporations to monitor foreign governments.

The Chinese government said that they have no knowledge of the origin of the cyber-attacks on the US; nor are they involved in them. A spokesperson for the Chinese military stated that the claims were “unfounded accusations based on preliminary results,” and followed with, “China resolutely opposes hacking actions and has established relevant laws and regulations, and taken strict law enforcement measures to defend against online hacking activities.”

David Skillcom, computing professor and cyber-hacking expert at Queen’s University claims that the evidence brought forward by the report issued by Mandiant was “damning”. Skillcom said: “It can’t be anything but Chinese government-sponsored. This is a huge pile of evidence.”

Mandiant Corp. claims to be the “ONLY information security company” that can inform a corporation when they have been compromised and explain the nature of such a breach. Mandiant has released a report stating that they “have analyzed . . .
hundreds of investigations” that convince the firm that “the groups conducting these activities are based primarily in China and that the Chinese Government is aware of them.”

The Chinese corporation APT1 was alleged as having syphoned data from 141 corporations with more than 110 of those companies being American based while Canadian and British corporations were also reported to have been affected. Mandiant maintains that hackers responsible for these attacks were sponsored by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China, under the cyberware division “Unit 61398”.

The Unit 61398 was previously known as the 2nd Bureau of the People’s Liberation Army’s General Staff Department’s 3rd Department cannot be confirmed because there no references to them in documents; however intelligence operatives assert that this group is central to Chinese espionage. Project 2049 Institute, a non-governmental organization (NGO) claimed that they are the “premier entity targeting the United States and Canada, most likely focusing on political, economic, and military-related intelligence.”

The Unit 61398 is purported to be located in Shanghai’s Pudong district, which is the center of the financial and banking core in China.

The report states: “Our research found that People’s Liberation Army (PLA’s) Unit 61398 is similar to APT1 in its mission, capabilities, and resources. PLA Unit 61398 is also located in precisely the same area from which APT1 activity appears to originate.”

Spear-phishing techniques have been employed by hackers because it grants access to internal servers.

Kevin Mandia, founder and chief executive of Mandiant said: “Either they are coming from inside Unit 61398, or the people who run the most-controlled, most-monitored Internet networks in the world are clueless about thousands of people generating attacks from this one neighborhood.”

  • The US government political elite sold their souls to the banks and abdicated their responsibilities making them perjurers of their oaths of office. Perjury “if anyone is interested” is a FELONY!
