MINKOVICHI, Belarus, April 12 (UPI) – A man in Belarus was killed in an attack by a beaver he was photographing along the side of a rural road in the Breast region, wildlife officials said.
A fisherman was savaged to death by a beaver after going up close to try and take its picture.
The man, visiting from the city of Brest, who has not been named, was viciously attacked during a trip with two friends at Lake Shestakov in Belarus.
Usually harmless creatures, beavers rarely attack humans, preferring to chew on bark and twigs. Unfortunately for the fisherman who was bit to death in Belarus, something spooked the beaver and caused it to attack. What could have provoked the deadly beaver?The International Business Times reports that in July 2012, a “crazed” beaver attacked two young girls while they were swimming in a lake in Virginia. According to the online newspaper, a month later, a Boy Scout leader was attacked in the Delaware River.
That is one nasty beaver! The poor guy,what a way to go .The beaver sank it’s nasty teeth into his thigh, severing an artery causing him to bleed to death.I wonder if the beaver was rabid?Barracuda.

Lesson learned: Don’t mess with wild animals.
At first if you notice the beaver was content to walk away from the man, he followed him/her (they are not it’s) and the beaver probably got scared. Now this man was probably a good four-five feet taller.

The beaver could have been rabid, but maybe the chemicals and pollution we humans have wrecked upon our planet is starting to take a toll on the wild life in ways other than killing them off, maybe some that survive are mutating.

The news report said the beaver took a large chunk out of the guys femoral artery. I worked ER and had a DOA from a dog bit to the femoral artery – guy bled out in less than 30 seconds.
The femoral artery is the second biggest artery in the body and if it gets hit you will most likely bleed out in a matter of seconds. The pressure in that artery is second only to the aorta.
Humans are a threat to this wold, and NATURE despise us!
