This is the inside of the chamber end of the water jacket. I used a free float barrel nut with silicone to seal the holes. I used a custom nut witch threads on where the tube would be. After it is tightened, the back cover of the water jacket is attached with four screws.

“I love to do Beta C dumps. I could have used a piston upper (I have both Ares and Bushmaster) but a piston upper doesn’t address the heat in the barrel. With most metals, the higher the temperature, the softer they become. And of course the softer the metal is, the quicker it will wear.
“There were a couple of neighbors that went by while I took some photos. I got a couple of weird looks, but no one said anything.”
