An armed homeowner interrupted a burglary and fired shots at several suspects who promptly fled the scene last week in a bungled home invasion in Lower Merion, PA.
According to police, they responded to calls of a home invasion in the 1200 block of Remington Road in Wynnewood, PA shortly after 1pm on May 2nd. Immediately setting up a perimeter, cops approached with guns drawn, unsure of what was going on inside of the home.
When said and done, law enforcement learned the homeowner fired about five shots at three suspects who escaped in a white sedan, apparently unharmed.
Neighbor Mike Coral offered some sage advice in lieu of the crime, “If people who like to break into homes understand the people inside are armed, they might think twice about it.”
