To highlight what disarmament of the American people will lead to if not opposed I will give you our experience here in Victoria, Australia.
Semi-automatic rifles are banned.
Shotguns are banned.
BB guns are banned.
Airsoft guns are banned.
Knives are banned.
Fireworks are banned.
We are now reduced to Nerf guns, party poppers and sparklers.
My daughter and her male friend were walking home a year ago when two guys in a stolen car jumped out and ran at them with a knife and stole her friends Mc Donalds meal and his wallet. If my daughter hadn’t run away at full speed as soon as the guys jumped out of the car I don’t know what might have happened to her. Naturally the cops were unable to prevent the crime since it happened in minutes, and they never caught the guys afterwards even with security video evidence. The criminals are so brazen because they have no fear of getting stabbed or shot by an unarmed community.
Before long the Nerf guns will be banned…

Well nice story….by the way how did you know that they jumped out of stolen car if the police never caught them…The truth is your daughters male friend ate the burger instead and made the whole story up, i guess he told her to ran…I have lived in Australia (Sydney) for about 8 years and not once have i witness a Robbery or a murder, some Pub fights yes but nothing else…I know it happens there but very Seldomly….And another thing Australia was voted the best place to live 3 years running..

Not at all. I was arrested in NSW for a minor traffic violation recently, unlawfully searched and detained against my will, and had a tiny little blunt folding pocket knife seized (which is legalese for ‘stolen for profit’) out of my pocket. I’ve been charged with possessing a knife in public. Note that I wasn’t actually ‘in public’ until dragged out of my private car on a quiet street in the middle of rural NSW. Our cops are totally out of control. The way the cops dealt with it you’d think it was a samurai sword and I was swinging it and screaming at people in the main street of town.
Aaaand you’re the idiot if you think total police state fascism isn’t knocking on your door in Oz my friend. If you reckon these guns aren’t banned, then just try going through the insane paperwork, approval and all the other nonsense bureaucracy just to have a basic firearm, let alone something decent for self defence. We recently had an old man who runs a legit gun business up here in the Blue Mountains raided by 20 police who seized (stole for profit) every one of his 1400 guns – many of them very old and quite rare collectors items – because of some onerous and egregious paperwork infraction. 20 cops! One old man! You American muppets that think you’re so tough with your “pry my gun from my cold dead hands” attitude clearly are yet to encounter a police state psychopath gang coming for your guns.
We need a revolution of conscience, not warfare. The only way to stop the ‘power of the state’ is through lawful, peaceful non-compliance enmasse. Starve the beast!

Okay, I say banned and you say “restricted to licensed citizens and not able to be carried for self defense”. I’m not talking about having a gun for rabbit hunting here, I’m talking about the complete control of all firearms, including Airsoft guns.

Automatic and semi’s are banned , gun ownership is restricted to club members or farmers for vermin control , certain types of knives are banned and restricted to 3cm blade length if carried on your person.
Australia is , like the rest of the world getting its share of violent crime , drive byes in Sydney, gang related and frequent murders and rapes in every state including the most affluent one, WA , where murder is common.
