MOBILE, Alabama — A man is recovering at the University of South Alabama Medical Center after police say he and two women tried to set two men up for an armed robbery at a home on South Gimon Circle Wednesday night, according to the Mobile Police Department.
Their plan was foiled after the homeowner grabbed a gun from his bedroom closet and opened fire on the man, who was armed at the time, according to MPD spokeswoman Ashley Rains.
