The National Council of La Raza (NCLR), the largest national Hispanic civil rights organization in the U.S., puts the award show together. This years honorees once again represent the best and brightest in the entertainment industry. Since 1995 the NCLR has been honoring outstanding Latino artistic achievements in television, film, and music.
Actress Rosario Dawson, movie director Robert Rodriguez and music legend Carlos Santana will be honored. The show that airs at 9:00 CST is also expected to feature as presenters Jessica Alba, Rico Rodriguez, and the cast of ‘Welcome to the Family ‘and’ Devious Maids, amongst others.
Longoria is serving as executive producer of the televised event.
