While Syria spirals out of control, US director of intelligence says there is a threat of a terrorist attack on US soil by Al Qaida link based in Syria affiliated with the al-Nursa front. But despite the Middle East increasingly resembling a haven for terrorists, the U.S. is till not convinced it wants to deal with the government.
