The Greatest Defender of Free Speech in Canada passed away a year ago this month as his family and friends remember this great man. father, friend and lawyer, and all the battles he fought defending the right to freedom of expression against a government, Human Rights Commission and special interest groups, dedicated to the irradication of free speech in Canada, I would like you all to read the latest newsletter put out by the Friends of Freedom.Doug Christie was a personal friend of mine and I think about him often and with great respect. When no other lawyer would take up the cases of individuals charges with so-called “hate crimes”, Doug picked up the cause for these individuals, sometimes at great personal expense for him and his family.
