(Before It's News)

“Two events this week have made the fight to save democracy from big money, already an uphill battle, even harder,” said Bill Moyers in a video essay. “In Washington, DC the Supreme Court struck down overall contribution limits on how much individual donors can give to candidates, parties and PACs.”

  • First things first, we are not, never have been, never will be or are recognized as a damned “democracy”, in case your teacher was too stupid, a parrot, or misinforming you, we are and always have been a “Republic”". I could not disagree with you more. Nothing happened to this Republic, nor will it happen as you claimed, you are just flat-out wrong on this issue, the effectiveness with regards to this decision, just as Corp., as a sub-Chapter S, a C -Corp., a Partnership, or a sole proprietor, are all recognized as persons, either individuals, groups of individuals making up a board of Directors, or a individual representative or a Chief Executive Officer, makes daily decisions in regards to the functionality of the Corp. (s). The supreme Court recognizes each of these as persons, and as a matter of free speech, money has always been the necktor of politicians, without it they don’t exist-period. So, as an individual, why is it so hard for you to recognize an individual as a Corp. enity, which they all are according to the courts, has been that way for a very long time, people lead organize and function as Corps with titles who, they happen to use the same venue, money as a means of their individual thoughts for or against another individual, and you’ve got a problem with that, that must mean your teacher was an idiot, or a parrot, or just plain too stupid to be teaching if that person doesn’t understand the issue of free speech. How about explaining it yourself to us all, instead you too are parroting the same position as the left of mind people, liberal who are now pissed off that the playing field has finally came to an equal setting for a change, yet fail to explain why it is you think this way or even acknowledge why they are now pissed over the issue. Life is hard enough, even harder without a functioning brain. GET A FUNSTIONING BRAIN, buy it or whatever, or just plain think it out/through next time, this type of reporting makes you the “looking too stupid” to argue the cause and effect of the case, and oh, by the way, not all of us out here are not without an education, we just happen to know better of these types of issues. We’ve been there done that, and now are retired from it, a Corp. Ret. CEO.
