Beginning 21 April 2014, citizens of the United States will no longer be able to enter the Department of Homeland Security headquarters building without a Real ID compliant driver’s license (Gold Star) or another acceptable federal ID document such as military ID cards or passports.
In July of 2014 citizens will no longer be able to enter any federal facilities which currently require an ID card without a Real ID compliant driver’s license or other acceptable federal ID document. One has to wonder if this will apply to members of congress and their staff as well.
To all those that said “Real ID is dead” your membership in the fortune telling club is hereby revoked. Many groups have claimed Real ID is dead. Unfortunately that is not the case.
The Constitutional Alliance warned citizens, groups, and organizations that the battle against Real ID was not and is not over. Some groups used the “Real ID is dead” assertion to claim success for their groups/organizations. Success may come in many forms but failure is not one of them.
As I have previously written even if Real ID was repealed it would not take away the “prize” the federal government has wanted from day 1. That prize is high resolution digital facial image/photograph which implements an international standard for the specific use of facial recognition software. Under the provisions of the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act of 1994 your state DMV can share you facial biometric with agencies and departments of the federal government without a warrant.
Previous photographs taken in all states were low resolution analog photographs until facial recognition was declared the “biometric of choice” over ten years ago. There is no human recognizable difference between the old analog photographs and the facial recognition high resolution digital facial images. The reason facial recognition was and is called the biometric of choice is because facial recognition software allows you to be tracked and identified when in public without your knowledge or consent.
Kaye Beach, a Board member of the Constitutional Alliance, filed a lawsuit in Oklahoma asserting that because the standard for the digital image comes from the International Civil Aviation Organization, an agency of the United Nations, submitting to mandatory biometric enrollment violates her religious beliefs as a Christian. Further Kaye’s attorneys and Kaye are asserting that the use of facial recognition violates Oklahoma’s state constitution’s equivalent of the 4th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
By submitting to the mandated biometric enrollment Kaye Beach and all other citizens of the United States are being enrolled into a global system of identification that permanently links their body to their ability to buy, sell, travel, and if congress has its way, work (see previous article titled “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” (no religious exemption in legislation that has already passed in the U.S. Senate) on the Constitutional Alliance’s web-site ). Kaye Beach’s lawsuit is still ongoing. Her attorneys have recently announced it is full steam ahead. It has taken two years plus for Kaye and her attorneys to get this far. Kaye’s attorneys are confident they will prevail.
Even should the Real ID Act be repealed going forward your state DMV database will still contain your biometrics. The Real ID Act 2005 repealed section 7212 of the Intelligence Reform and the Terrorist Prevention Act of 2004 (IRTPA). The IRTPA would still allow the federal government to set federal guidelines implementing international standards for the collection of citizen’s biometrics.
International standards are only used to facilitate global information sharing. U.S. citizens can have their biometrics shared globally in a number of ways without requiring a warrant. The telecommunication networks are already in place and being used to share biometrics globally. Currently ¾ of the countries in the world have or are implementing biometric enrollment. The remaining countries are soon to come aboard. The head of the International Biometrics Foundation is on record saying we need a global agency with global powers. Imagine anywhere in world you go you can be identified and tracked. This identification can be done using CCTV, smart phones, or drones. In the United States we are expected to have upwards of 20,000 drones licensed to fly over the United States by 2020.
You cannot reconcile a surveillance state with a free society.
Men and women have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our rights. Those in our military and their families who have given the ultimate sacrifice must not have died in vain.
Facial recognition also threatens our right to peacefully assemble, our right to free speech, and our right to seek redress using intimidation to control the public. Nobody wants to go on a “watch list” of any type because they support a certain candidate or take a position on a controversial issue being debated in our country. Facial recognition has already been used by law enforcement “intelligence” units to identify people when those people are in public. No warrant is required and as stated earlier it is being done without the knowledge or consent of the people.
You are still free to decide for yourselves if you choose to support those that claimed Real ID is dead or if you choose to support the Constitutional Alliance. It is part of the Constitutional Alliance’s mission statement to end mandated biometric enrollment. Other groups and organizations come to the Constitutional Alliance for information about mandated biometrics and the Real ID Act. The Constitutional Alliance is the only organization nationally that educates citizens about mandated biometric enrollment and the Real ID Act, Comprehensive Immigration Reform as it relates to mandated biometrics, and also provides state legislation to stop mandated biometric enrollment through the Constitutional Alliance’s sister organization, the Stop Real ID Coalition. Many Christian ministries have reached out to the Constitutional Alliance for information about global biometric enrollment that permanently links a person’s body to their ability to buy and sell. I have appeared on TBN, TCC, and DayStar Christian television networks addressing global biometric enrollment as it relates to biblical prophecy.
The Constitutional Alliance can only provide the information it does with your help. Please give as you can whether it is $10, $20, $50, $100, or more. Share the work the Constitutional Alliance is doing with everyone you are in contact with and ask them to do the same.
Thank you,
