Disabled Veteran Searching For Whoever “Killed” His Flag (Video)

(N.Morgan) A very upset and angry veteran’s flag was vandalized and he makes a heart breaking plea on the internet, expressing what the flag means to him. It is another sign of where our country is going in regards to respect for our flag, for our beliefs, for our freedoms. Now veterans cannot even hang a flag without some low life ruining it for no reason. “Somebody killed my flag,” he states at the beginning of the video. Why on earth would someone do this? Have we forgotten what it means to be an American? Have we lost the understanding of what the flag represents? Have we become so hardened that we don’t care if someone comes onto personal property and shreds an American symbol?
Unfortunately, a retired Army veteran woke up one morning to find that what he considers a symbol of every thing he fought for shredded in his own front yard. Charles E. Turner says he is no hero. He is a disabled American veteran. He was disabled in service to his country and holds the flag in high regard. He calls it his heart. He woke up one morning to find his “heart” ripped to pieces, hanging in tatters. It had been shredded while he slept on his own property.
He wrote the following on June 9th, when he posted his desperate plea:
I have no words to express my hurt over having my flag disgraced while flying proudly in my front yard. They may as well have stuck the knife in my heart.

It’s hurtful indeed. But…to say it’s as dear as losing a child…I just don’t agree… I know.
If somebody did that to me….I would show them how a *Real American* reacts…( and no, I’m not putting this wonderful man down) I would sew that Flag and show the World that no matter how many times you try to cut me…*We as Americans will stand together, fight together for what’s right for ALL-MEN AMEN.* AND FIX WITH HEART WHATS BROKEN NO MATTER HOW WE MOGHT ACCOMPLISH THAT.
That’s why I’m upset…”We the people aren’t showing *These people”* whose boss! Our Government, period is corrupt on so many levels…any corruption should be taken care of swiftly and w/out mercy if found guilty. Life!
Anyways…sorry..LoL…I didn’t mean to rant :0/ LoL This guy has every right to be heart broken..but don’t let the pricks get you down. Fight back in a classy and profound and humble way….you win and they are the assholes that we already know they can be.
