6-9-2014 Intel Guru Mnt Goat From June 10th to mid July we are in the absolute best window ever to see the international announcement of the revalued IQD currency. I believe the RV could happen at any stage of the process after June 10th but I am saying it is most likely to happen just before or just after the announcement of the newly formed government’s completion and before the expected July 1st ISX rollout. The IQD rate will be high when it comes out and it will climb very quickly. Iraq has met all necessary Basel III requirements and beyond for valuation of a very, very high rate as an asset backed currency. [post 2 of 2]

6-9-2014 Intel Guru Mnt Goat So what happened last week with the Qi Cards? …they are now loading these cards for those who are traveling abroad and for those Iraqi citizens already living in foreign countries. So how will they be able to use these cards abroad without an international rate in this manner? On April 19, 2009, the ISX switched to electronic trading. Now they plan to fully rollout the last phase of the ISX and this phase includes the complete international implementation. This is planned for July 1st of this year. This past week there were statements made by Turki (acting governor of the CBI) stating that the CBI will start the lifting of the 3 zeros and they will be ready for the ISX to start trading internationally on their opening day of July 1st. I…believe they must begin the process of going international with their currency days in advance of that date to be ready. [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

6-9-2014 Intel Guru MarkZ I did rather expect to see an RV early this morning. I knew based on progress late Saturday that thinking we would have it Monday morning was optimistic but, I am a glass half full kinda guy. We are still close and closing on done. [SO- the latest chatter leans to another week: 6/15...?] I doubt another week. My only concern is I know logistics are much easier to do it on a weekend. That being said no one has taken the easy road on this so far so I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see it just pop mid day this week. [I am thinking when July 1st when Iraq is on ISX.] I do not think we have to wait that long. [out of the 4 in the basket what do you think will be the best bang for your buck?] I still think VND is the best dark horse but only time will tell us. [heard rumors of $4 & $11 for IQD your thoughts?] street 4 ish and contract higher is MO.
