Robber shoots himself in the foot while trying to steal iPhone (VIDEO)

A Philadelphia robber hobbled away from his intended victim after accidentally shooting himself Sunday night.
The suspect, who was armed with a handgun, walked up to a woman and demanded her iPhone. During the course of the robbery, the suspect managed to accidentally shot himself in the foot, NBC Philadelphia reports.
The suspect was transported to Aria Health-Torresdale Campus hospital to be treated for his wounds and is expected to survive.
The woman was not injured during the incident, and she also didn’t lose her iPhone.
