Ekaterina Rybolovleva, the daughter of Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, made headlines when she bought a New York apartment for a record-breaking $88 million. The 6,744-square-foot apartment has 10 rooms, a library, seven walk-in closets and a terrace as well. Currently studying at an unknown-to-public U.S. university, she plans to stay at the apartment when she is in New York. As of March 2012, Rybolovleva’s father is worth $9 billion and No. 100 on the Forbes richest billionaires list.
