José Manuel Torres Felix (February 28, 1954 – October 13, 2012), also known as “M1” , was a Mexican criminal, and the right hand to “El Mayo” Zambada, the leader of a cell of Sinaloa Cartel.

Manuel was brother of Javier Torres Felix alias “El JT” a close associate of “El Mayo” Zambada and “Chapo” Guzman. He was killed by the Mexican Army in an operation near Quilá in Oso Viejo, a populated municipality of Culiacán, Sinaloa on October 13, 2012.
