By Pamela Rae Schuffert presenting investigative journalism from a Biblical Christian perspective-
Due to unforeseen delays in receiving financial support from a wonderful reader in the UK, Sylvia and I find ourselves sleeping in tents in the woods still, as early winter winter weather warnings continue with even snow forecast in our region as well.
One worker here told me this morning that 8 inches of snow is forecast for the higher elevations today, and we are also getting some down here as well. This will be the first time I have ever camped in a tent in the snow! And Sylvia's too. We shall soon see how much snow we get: it is now 30 miles away on this Wednesday afternoon in the Glacier region of NW Montana.
Feeling very much like a wilderness woman practicing survival on a daily basis, I have learned to do what the wild animals here is this region also do to keep warm. Here in Montana, it is easy to find some animal hides at various thrift stores. And so, I am now sleeping with the wolves, the coyotes and the bobcats literally!
A nice warm covering of three wolf skins sewn together cover me at night, also joined with their friends the bobcat and the soft coyote hide. Coupled with a sleeping bag, I am nice and warm at night. And feeling “the call of the wild” as I drift off to sleep following prayer with Sylvia, listening the distant wails of coyotes and wolves as the damp and chilly fall winds cause the trees to rustle all around us.
Thank God for our wonderful CHRISTIAN READER IN THE UK who is committed to helping us finally have a home to go home to, and to escape winter's fierce wrath in northwestern Montana. However, due to unforeseen delays and problems transferring funds, we do not have the trailer as yet.
Your kind support will help enable us to survive and obtain what we need until the promised home is fully provided. Sylvia, coming here from very hot Florida, is becoming transformed into a wilderness survival woman herself through all this. I am proud of her!
Please pray for the promised support for a home to be provided soon so we can get out of this cold and rain! THANK YOU for your prayers!
