At a House Committee on Homeland Security hearing yesterday, Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, asked Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson about a report that four men with ties to terrorist organizations tried to cross the Texas border Sept. 10.

Johnson neither confirmed nor denied the the report, saying he had “heard reports to that effect” but did not know their accuracy.

Following the hearing, Chaffetz spoke with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly about his exchange with Johnson.

“We have a porous border,” Chaffetz said last night. “I’m worried about [ISIS] actually coming to the United States and crossing that porous border and getting into the homeland.”
