I currently am in a band called Entropy out of the Philadelphia, PA suburbs.

Our goal, as a whole, is to the best of our ability convey just about the same messages you see coming from this here organization. We too believe that the nation’s largest gang (aka – the police force) needs a reality check; for badges do NOT grant extra rights. We too believe that police brutality needs to come to a halt – and fast. We too believe that this nation needs to stand up for itself and it’s rights. We believe in a wave of change coming over this nation, or WORLD, as a whole. Our only difference from CopBlock is that we are not just pushing on the militarized-police front. We are pushing for total change.
This world is long due for a revolution, or as Pete from CopBlock corrected me, an EVOLUTION. We need to move forward as a society; as a unit. We need an evolution in the way that people think – this world has so much more potential than most would ever imagine.
The society we live in now is overdue for drastic updating… and there are a vast amount of groups like us that are doing what we can to try and make it better. What I am hoping through this is that all of us free-thinkers can come together as a whole. There is power in numbers and we would all be beneficial to one another in all sorts of ways as an affiliated unit. THAT is how you start a movement; we all come together. Then people take notice, see the facts, and before you know it they are part of the movement as well.
So far in our affiliation we have done as much as possible to get the word out. CopBlock was nice enough to send us a whole load of gear free of charge that we are going to spread with us at every show. We’ll be wearing CB shirts on stage occasionally, putting up their promo stuff with our merch, and spreading the word by mouth. Check out the twitter screenshot I took, in which you can see some of the gear we received.
Through this same post – German author, Annmarie Zeal, discovered CopBlock and the entire movement itself. She tweeted us saying that she is using it all as research for her upcoming novel. Pretty cool, huh? You can check her out here if you like: http://aziehl.com
