“I can’t believe how someone that has extremist terrorist ideologies was sitting in front of…”
Western Journalism
A Canadian recruit identified as Abu Usamah Somali recently agreed to an interview with Vice News, during which he revealed the deadly plans and staggering number of militants associated with terrorist organization Islamic State, or ISIS.
He described leaving Canada after convincing authorities in that country that he posed no threat.
“All the intelligence workers are imbeciles,” he said. “I can’t believe how someone that has extremist terrorist ideologies was sitting in front of you and you didn’t capture him. The next time they saw me, they saw me ripping up my passport.”
Now reportedly stationed in Mosul, Iraq, Somali confirmed he is one of as many as 15,000 foreign fighters currently in the country. Beyond the threat ISIS poses in the region, however, he was quick to proclaim that deadly attacks are being planned around the world – including New York City.
“A lot of brothers there are mobilizing right now,” he said, adding only that their plan consists of a “brilliant attack.”
