Bill Cosby: Not The Only Star Rocked by Sexual Assault Allegations
In January 2014, Dylan Farrow published a letter in the New York Times accusing her step-father, Woody Allen, of molesting her when she was a child. The month before that, the Village Voice made public documents describing allegations that R. Kelly repeatedly raped young girls, more than a decade after the initial investigation first made national news. With these two buried sexual-assault allegations resurfacing, Gawker’s Tom Scocca asked his readers an all-important question: “Who wants to remember Bill Cosby’s multiple sex-assault accusations?”
The allegations of sexual assault that recently resurfaced against Bill Cosby first became apparent in 2005 when a former employee of his alma mater, Temple University, claimed he had drugged and abused her a year earlier at his home in Philadelphia home.
