UPDATE: CBS responds to the suit, saying, “We believe this to be a flatulent abuse of the legal system, and we intend to clear the air on this matter immediately.”
In Hollywood, the land of American reinvention, even the farting hippos have dark, shameful secrets.
On Monday, a soft sculpture company called Folkmanis, Inc. sued CBS and several affiliated companies for copyright infringement, a case several years and episodes of procedural drama “NCIS” in the making.
