For much too long in America, Police officers have been taken for granted, disrespected, misunderstood, abused, ignored, scorned and ridiculed. I am not saying that every single police officer throughout our nation is a perfect little angel. But I am willing to wager that the majority of the men and woman in blue are fantastic, well intentioned guardians of our communities. So I believe it is high time that “We the People” consider that the overwhelming majority of police officers are honorable sovereign Americans who willingly risk their lives to protect you and I.

It is a sad reflection on the current state of affairs, that a police officer who defended himself from a bullying brute has to give up his livelihood and probably get out of town. Yet the thugs who increased the Ferguson unemployment rate by destroying and robbing from businesses are roaming free. I for one have both witnessed and experienced the helpful kindness of police officers throughout the years. I will never forget the time I locked my car keys in my automobile. Upon returning from an appointment in Grosse Pointe Park. MI I saw my keys sitting right on the drivers seat. While standing there pondering my course of action, a police officer on patrol stopped and asked if I was okay.

After explaining my predicament, he kindly told me to “hang tight for a few minutes” and drove away. To my pleasant surprise, it was not long before the patrolman returned. Within a short span of time he easily unlocked my auto with a device he retrieved from the police station. I was most appreciative of the friendly member of the thin blue line who went out of his way to help this (at the time) forgetful driver. It is becoming more irritating to witness the seemingly ongoing efforts by the dragon media and street cretins who seem to work in tandem, to discredit and discourage local police officers. Could it be that some folks in power would love to establish a national police force as well?

  • there are good cops and bad cops. we must weed out the bad ones. to stick your head in the sand to the very real fact that people are being tazed, beaten, maimed and killed UNNECCESSARILY, is not helping. what do you propose be done about the brutality shown by MANY police officers?

  • Ohh, you seem to believe that the CONstitution and laws automatically apply to everyone within the exterior borders of America and the state in which they are physically present.. is that a fair presumption?? I’ll presume your answer is in the affirmative.
    We have all been told that the CONstitution and laws apply, you obviously feel it applies, believe it applies, assume and presume it applies.. HOWEVER, hearsay, feelings, beliefs, assumptions and presumptions are not factual proof that any of it applies to anyone!
    Because you are such a staunch believer in your CONstitution and laws, I offer this challenge to you. I would like you to provide factual, first hand, irrefutable evidence that incontrovertibly proves that any of it applies to a private person just because they are physically in what we commonly call America and or a particular state.

    You should keep a few things in mind prior to posting your reply.. look up the definition of FIRST HAND EVIDENCE
    you shall not resort to sophistry, fraud or lies.
    you have to know that slavery and involuntary servitude is illegal.
    you should check with a judge and get an answer to this question, is a private person a party to the CONstitution, federal or state.. here’s a hint.. the private person, is NOT a party to the CONstitution! You probably won’t grasp the gravity of the aforementioned statement as to ramifications of NOT being a party to their CONstitution.
    your proof shall not consist of or resort to, scenarios, what if’s, speculation, etc etc..

    • arrogance.

      • I’m extremely impressed with the thousand upon thousands of hours of research that you’ve obviously endured to come up with that “arrogance”
        HOWEVER;
        It comes up wanting for, factual irrefutable evidence, doesn’t it! If you could have proven that their CONstitution and laws factually applied to anyone, you would have destroyed me with reams of documentation, court cites, etc etc..
        BUT YOU GOT NOTHING!

        Having no credible answers to ANYTHING and posting “arrogance” is laughable and shows what a complete incompetent inbred troglodyte you truly are!
