Video - These are two interesting clips borrowed from the “Peculiar Potions” episode of BBC’s series “Weird Nature” about certain animals’ appetite for psychedelic plants. In the first video, a jaguar in the Peruvian rain forest eats Yage, a vine containing hallucinogenic chemical DMT, used by native tribes in a ritualistic ceremony involving ayahuasca.

In the second video, learn more about the reindeer appetite for intoxicating fungi, and perhaps discover a little more about the origins of Santa‘s flying companions!
