A resident shot two men trying to break into his home early Thursday in central Topeka, authorities said, marking the second shooting to occur during an alleged home burglary here this week.
Two people remained hospitalized Thursday afternoon and four others had been arrested in the incident, which occurred shortly after 1:30 a.m. at a home at 2015 S.W. Lincoln.
