A Place in Your Heart

Which one of My children is not My beautiful flower? Every one of you is My beautiful flower. This is how I see you. Of course, I love My hardy dandelions as much as I love My hothouse roses. The angle I see from is inclusive. My arms embrace all. In every single one of My children, I see something you may not be quite so adept at seeing, do you agree? Light sees light! There could be some dark spots within you. Beneath your delicate veneer, there could be.

Do you say that I am blinded with love? No, My dears, it is you who are blinded with judgment. Through your so-called objective mind, you pull some people in, and you push some people out. Of course, you have your reasons. You always have reasons. You can always justify what you think and do. You justify all the time. You are good at it.

And some people you may pull into your inner circle may come to disappoint you anon. You have second thoughts, and you boot the disappointers out from your close-knit inner circle. For some you previously excluded, you may later find reasons to include. Maybe they became famous or inherited a fortune, or you did! Something in you may have changed. As you change, so does your view of what is outside you change as well.

Take the splinter out of your own eye. Whatever a seeming another has done or not done, it is not for you to project unworthiness onto him or her. You have had your own ignoble thoughts. Someone else may have acted on your thoughts, beloveds.

No one is excluded from My inner circle. How could I exclude Myself? And why would I ever want to? I am unblemished. I can see as far as the eye can see. I also see as far as the heart can see.

From the standards you uphold, you have not yet seen a perfect person. When you see defects or lack of ease, you contribute to them. You may not acknowledge where you were before you rose to where you are now, or believe you are now.

Pretty much, My children are made up of little deeds and not big ones. None of you knows with certainty who acts on My behalf and who does not. You do not know what any deed presents to the world, nor do you know what any deed may take away or whether the taking away is a plus or a minus to the whole wide world. You simply don’t know enough.

You do not have to make bedfellows with those who have murdered others, yet you can admit you have known murder in your heart. Now send a blessing to one who acted on his or her thought and whom you point to now with derision from your position as Ms. or Mr. High and Mighty who is above it all. Does it really cost you to send a blessing another’s way?

Since when did I tell you to count misdeeds another has performed? Since when did I tell you to slight another and then count yourself as exceedingly wonderful?

You may well sympathize with yourself for all you have been through and risen above. I am not saying to make excuses for anyone, most especially yourself. You are not free to demean another. You are not free to scoff at another. If someone has fallen into a pit of undervaluing life, you do not have to take it upon yourself to discard even that one soul. Never do I ask you to become holier than thou. In effect, to one who has slain another, you may be cutting the slayer dead in a more legal manner. Then you are labeling yourself what you may dismiss another for being.
