This may have been a terrorist attack? According to the Guardian: There are reports in the French press that one of the attackers told an eyewitness to “tell the media that we are from Al-Qaida in the Yemen”.
The Guardian’s south Asia correspondent, Jason Burke, says this raises the possibility of an operation by an Al-Qaida affiliate that has long worried western intelligence services:

Violent psychotic Muslim cult have awakened a sleeping giant.
French President Francois Hollande has admitted his shame of not being prepared and allowing the Muslim tribes to virtually take over Paris and France. The area in Paris is one of the most densely populated districts in all of Europe and is home to a large, mostly Algerian, Muslim community.
Time to wake up. I actually feel bad for the innocent children of the Muslim tribes as “war” will …has been declared now in France on the worlds most vicious, perverted, lawless, murderous, free-speech hating, woman-hating, oppressive “religious” cult that modern man has ever witnessed.
I imagine today that the collective shock of France’s citizens of these death-cult invaders will now metamorphose into a full blown hatred and distrust of the “Muslim” invaders that have set up shop in the once relatively peaceful communities of Paris.
