Some time ago it was proven that chicken sold in the USA contains arsenic (toxic chemical which is known to cause cancer). When consumed in large amounts, this can be fatal for humans. This chemical is intentionally added to the feed of the chicken. Later on it finishes in the meat and it is consumed by people.

For a very long time FDA was trying to hide this big issue and avoid admitting that there is arsenic in chicken, hoping that no one will pay attention and elaborate it. However, they finally admitted the fact and confirmed that there is arsenic in chicken, supporting these claims with a research that showed that Americans were consuming arsenic through chicken in the last 60 years.
