This map reveals the most significant human migration on the face of the Earth, and it’s not humans travelling out of Africa or people arriving to the New World.
It’s the Chinese, arriving home to visit their families for the Lunar New Year.
{Known|Understood} as “Chunyun,” the spring movement starts at the beginning of the Lunar New Year month, making sure people have plenty of time to get home, and spend time with their families.
The interactive map was created on China’s website, Baidu, so people can view what their country’s migration looks like on this holiday.
