TND Editor’s Note: Jim Rickards tweeted a better picture of the ad Simon Black published last week. Black’s blurry image led some to conclude the coin image was a gold coin. While the coin is gold in color and it’s likely the case that it was intended to evoke the subliminal confidence gold instills, it doesn’t appear to be a gold coin.
Nevertheless, the main take home point remains: China is flexing her monetary muscle.
