Get set for the first eclipse of four for 2015 and the only total solar eclipse for the year on March 20th. Dubbed the “equinox eclipse,” this event actually occurs just over 10 hours before the vernal equinox and actually ends in the high arctic north of Europe just shy of the North Pole. We made some simulations in Starry Night of this eclipse as seen from Earth and space demonstrating the unique circumstances for this eclipse. Enjoy!
