Downtown where ‘The Walking Dead’ was filmed for sale on eBay (VIDEO)
For the super low price of just $680,000, you can have a piece of history – Walking Dead history, that is.
The downtown area of Grantville, Georgia, about 50 miles from Atlanta, is up for sale on eBay, and if you’re a “Walking Dead” fan and it looks familiar, that’s probably because the downtown area was the scene for filming part of the Season Three episode “Clear.”
The property includes nine buildings and nearly 25,000 square feet of space, including retail, apartments and restaurants. Additionally, the property already has a booming tourist industry.
“We have people coming from all over the world because of ‘The Walking Dead.’ That’s paying the bills downtown,” said Leon Tyes with the Grantville Veterans Association.
The current Buy It Now price is at $680,000, but the city is open to offers as well. The listing is presently being viewed over 300 times per hour and has almost 1,800 watchers, but no known bids or offers at the moment.
