Harry Reid out! Not soaking “up all those resources”

Harry Reid, 75, announced today he will not seek re-election to another term, saying he wanted to focus on bringing Democrats back to power in the Senate rather than his own re-election.

Physically and emotionally bruised, the Senate Minority Leader issued this video statement saying it would be “inappropriate for me to soak up all those resources when I could be devoting those resources to the caucus, and that’s what I intend to do.”

The steadfast Obama supporter claimed he sustained facial injuries when an elastic band on a piece of equipment broke while exercising at his home on New Year’s Day. He fell, breaking four ribs and multiple bones near his right eye.
