Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul will announce that he is running for president on April 7, USA Today reports.
Paul will make the major announcement at a rally at the Galt House in Louisville.
Supporters of the senator said his campaign team has already started making phone calls to supporters in Kentucky and throughout the nation inviting them to the event.
Yet, it is possible that Paul will make the announcement April 7 to say that he is not running for president.
