Florence police say a robbery suspect ended up with a broken leg after his victim pulled a gun in self-defense.
Officers found this out after responding to a shots fired call at Cypress Ridge Apartments on Appleby Boulevard Sunday evening. Investigators say two males tried to rob another, and the confrontation got physical. Police say the robbers sprayed the victim with mace, and the victim fired several shots at them.
