Pre-election border policy reversals routine for deceptive McCain

As the 2016 election looms on the horizon, the deception begins anew. With his recent announcement that he will run for a sixth six-year senate term, John McCain told voters that he was spoiling for “a good fight.”

The problem with John McCain’s good fights is that he views conservative Republicans as those he seeks to decimate.

After suffering an embarrassing 2014 censure by elected Republican state committeemen who passed a resolution chastising his left-leaning positions on a litany of sigificant issues, he retaliated by spending big bucks with an assist from out-of-state wealthy Democrat donors, to purge conservatives from the Arizona Republican Party precinct committeemen ranks.

His operatives flew into high gear recruiting McCain-friendly replacements to challenge those who sanctioned him. Precinct Committeemen are elected in Primary Elections. Though his capacity for vindictive revenge is boundless, McCain is not above briefly and fraudulently portraying himself in a more acceptable light in an effort to win votes.  That task is accomplished, as it has always been, by fabrication and misrepresenting his actual positions on key issues.

This past January 2015 John McCain and Jeff Flake were soundly rejected by a chorus of  boos and turned backs by elected state delegates attending the annual Statutory Meeting of the State Committee of the Arizona Republican Party.

As a result the man who led the “Gang of Eight” liberal and RINO senate amnesty proponents with the acquiescing Flake in tow, is once again talking tough, calling for strict border enforcement and a stepped up removal of Central American illegals who have swarmed across the Mexican border into the U.S. He even voted against the confirmation of U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch citing her lax approach to illegal immigration, aware that his vote wasn’tt crucial to her approval.  Flake covered him with his own “yea” vote.

After years of his pre-election lies, it’s clear that only left-leaners or the chronically uninformed would vote for McCain. This is why McCain, who needs the crossover votes to win, adamantly opposes closed Primary Elections. Prior to running for the U.S. Senate, he  was elected to the U.S. House in the old First Congressional District in 1982. In the intervening years, he has gotten bolder with his dishonesty. Remember this? It was just prior to his push for amnesty immediately after the votes were counted.

Haven’t you had enough?
