Colorado Cop Beats Handcuffed Man
There is a video floating around of a Federal Heights CO. cop beating a man who is handcuffed inside of a jail. He is seen, on his own body cam, throwing the man around the jail into doors and other objects. The cop even continues beating him after they cuff him, all the while shouting, “stop resisting.”
It has been speculated by myself and other Cop Blockers that they have been trained to make audible statements like this in order to cover their asses in court against formal charges. I think this video clearly shows officer Magnus took that lesson to heart. There is obviously NO RESISTANCE put up by the suspect.
As is par for the course, though, the Federal Heights police have yet to make a statement about the incident. This officer has a history of violence and the blatant attack caught on video says to me, you don’t get to “no comment” this one! I want answers! How can you stand behind this officer?
I want to know how many officers this piece of shit has trained in his career. I want to know how many other officers in this department have had substantiated complaints filed against them. I want to know it all! This man does not deserve his badge or his salary, and neither do the police in this department who support his actions by remaining silent about them! He should NEVER be allowed to be a cop again! Furthermore, if this deportment gives him a stunning recommendation when he tries to apply to another department, they should also be charged with a crime! I don’t know what crime, but damn!
How can people blindly support the police when there are videos like this out there? This guy certainly didn’t give a damn about this man’s rights. He could care less that his own body camera was recording at the time, despite being warned by fellow officers during the beating. Yet people will still blindly support the Federal Heights police.
I called Federal Heights police to ask about the incident. The video below shows the response.
I will admit that a lot of Cop Block videos do not capture such egregious acts of violence, but what they do show is a pattern of behavior. A pattern of behavior that allows assholes like Mark Magnus here an outlet for their violent tendencies with no consequences. This department should be serving this guy up on a platter, not trying to take care of things quietly. They should be bringing us his head on a platter! They should be up in arms refusing to work with this scumbag and ostracizing him to oblivion! Instead they remain silent.
The Federal Heights police department should be making sure Mark Magnus never works as a police officer ever again. They should be making it their mission to spread the message that badges don’t grant extra rights in their department. Instead they choose to cower behind “no comment.” Shame on you Federal Heights police, and all those that support your violent asses!
