Fresno Police Refuse to Identify Themselves After Questionable Traffic Stop

(Before It's News)

A custom red Lincoln Town Car is surrounded by police vehicles. The driver is on the ground in handcuffs. Three police officers are standing over him, asking him questions. There is no way that this is a a routine traffic stop relating to the hydraulics on his vehicle. This is more like the way the police treat suspects of violent crime.

That was the scene when I arrived to film the police on Blackstone Ave.

After asking the man on the ground, if he knew me, the Sgt. approached me to try and convince me to stop filming. He claimed I had no right, I refuted his claim, and moved to continue filming unobstructed. The officer asked me where “I” was. I declined to comment, and he returned to the scene.

A couple of minutes later the cops decided to let the man out of his cuffs and take him over to their car. They made comments such as- if he wanted to ride high up, he should buy a truck. The situation turned into a social party complete with jokes and shit. After pulling this man out his car, placing him in restraints and forcing him to sit on the ground, they had the audacity to try and make jokes and find some sort of common ground.

I personally find this type of behavior to be highly distasteful. It shows what demented individuals cops can be. Their ability to switch between “good cop” & “bad cop” must be strenuous, and possibly is evidence of some sort of a psychological disorder.

The police officer asking you about your day and your comings and goings isn’t making small talk, he doesn’t have a personal interest in you, as he is not your friend. Therefore the cop is asking you these questions in an investigatory capacity only. You would be wise to decline all questions without a lawyer present, as well as refuse all warrantless searches and seizures.

At the end of the incident I attempted to get names and badge numbers for accountability, as the traffic stop did not sit well with me. The officers all responded with behavior that is unbecoming of an officer, as well as an obvious disregard for accountability.

The first officer asked me a bunch of stupid questions about my youtube channel before revving his engine at me.

The next cop apparently was a mathemagician and proved it by counting all of the way to ten.

The Sgt. at the scene completely disregarded me, and began to roll up his windows.

Fresno obviously has the finest, most professional and courteous police department in California.
