FL: Home Invasion results in Shooting

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —

A man is recovering from serious injuries after being shot early Monday morning in an apparent home invasion, authorities said.

The incident was reported around 2:30 a.m. at a home on Manorville Drive, just south of Interstate 10 and west of Interstate 295. Police are investigating a violent confrontation between a homeowner and an intruder.
