In the wake of yet another senseless murder we should all reflect on a national problem, which is not guns, but insane people and how they are controlled today. When I was a boy the insane, criminal and otherwise were kept in asylums, due to progressives (Liberal) demand and the refusal to spend money to incarcerate them, they now walk among us. Our problem is not, and has never been, the availability of guns; it is since the late 60’s the lack of incarceration of insane people. The psychiatrists claim that these people can be treated with drugs and have been proven wrong time and again. By the way I don’t recall ever meeting a sane psychiatrist. In fact many insane people on Prozac and other mind-altering drugs have committed some of the most heinous of all crimes. 35 of the last few years of school shootings (All in gun free zones) were committed by people on prescription psychiatric drugs; CT, Adam Lanza, Lexapro & Celexa & and Dr. Fox his doctor had his license suspended FL, Myron May –Hydroxyzine, WA, Aaron Yabarra –Prozac, CT, Chris Plaskon –drug for ADHD, NV, Lose Reyes –Prozac & fluoxetine, MO, Sean Johnson –various prescription drugs, AL, Hammad Memon- Zoloft, Finland Matti Saari –SSRI & benzodiazepine, CA, Jesus Carrizales – Lexapro & Geodon, the list is endless. All of these people that murdered scores of their fellow citizens, often children, were on mind altering drugs and were crazy and all the shooting took place in gun free zones.
Changes in laws for incarceration of the insane, again sponsored by progressives, make it very difficult to lock up nut cases unless they have committed a crime. They can be held for 72 hours and if they have not committed a serious crime, must then be released. The pharmaceutical industry that reaps billions in profit selling these drugs, that don’t work, has convinced the AMA that their drugs are the solution for the insane, obviously after over a 1,000 murders committed by nuts on these drugs, are wrong.
There is another factor, which is the gun control lobby that absolutely refuses to view actual realistic information and instead fabricates all sorts of false anti-gun propaganda. This would be organizations like the Joyce Foundation, Michael Bloomberg, The Trace, The Brady Campaign, among many others. Utilizing all the propaganda methods to distort real information. This is a huge factor in that they falsify statistical and government produced data to create false situations. This does not help solving the problem it simply makes a viable solution harder to reach. The complicity of the Űber-left media helps in the distribution of these lies. One way they do this is to utilize limited case information in only one location and then apply it nationally. The media strenuously avoids reporting on the sanity of the perpetrators and the VPC; Violence Policy Center is notorious in the production of false information, so much so that even the media now avoids quoting them.
The solution to a realistic national reduction in gun related crimes is, #1) enforcement of the over 20,000 state gun laws already on the books, most of which remain unenforced. #2) the incorporation of an FBI list of all felons and insane as well as people under treatment by psychiatrists of an alphabetic “No Buy” lists on the FBI web site. * #3) the requirement of everyone selling any gun to check that list and no criminal insanity pleas ever again allowed. #4) the requirement that all FFL licenses and individual gun sales indicate on their sales slip documents that they checked the FBI list. #5) a mandatory additional 10-year prison term for any previous felon committing any gun related crime. #6) a $5,000 fine for anyone selling any gun to anyone on the list. #7) a $ 10,000 fine for selling any gun to any non-citizen. #8) Mandatory and immediate deportation of any illegal alien felon and if in commitment of a crime with mandatory 5-year incarceration at hard labor without pay and deportation thereafter. #9) absolute mandatory death penalty for any premeditated murderer using any weapon. #10) a mandatory 20-year prison term for the commitment of a crime using a club, knife, sword or gun in an act of forceful criminality at hard labor.
A national requirement that all licensed physicians must report to the FBI any persons name and date of birth that they are treating for psychiatric problems.
And if the bleeding heart liberals don’t like this let them move to Mexico, where gun ownership by non-citizens is illegal.
If this does not stop gun related crime and violent crime nothing will. Dr. Krieg is a life member of the NRA, and US Army expert in rifle, carbine and pistol.
